Board-Certified Clinical Supervisor (MN & GA)

Radiant Recovery and Counseling Services (RRCS) is seeking a Board-Certified Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical supervision, treatment oversight, and quality assurance support for our outpatient behavioral health programs in Minnesota and Georgia. You will supervise pre-licensed and licensed clinicians, ensure clinical documentation and treatment services meet state regulatory and payer standards, and serve as a key clinical leader supporting the integrity, safety, and effectiveness of client care.

This is a remote, independent contractor role ideal for an experienced, board-approved supervisor who holds (or is eligible to hold) supervisory recognition in both Minnesota and Georgia, or who holds strong credentials in one state and can obtain recognition in the other.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Supervision

• Provide individual and group clinical supervision to pre-licensed clinicians and licensed staff in accordance with Minnesota and Georgia licensing board requirements.
• Maintain accurate, board-compliant supervision records, including supervision logs, evaluations, and documentation required for supervisees' licensure progression.
• Review and co-sign clinical documentation as required by state statute, administrative rule, and payer requirements.
• Provide guidance on diagnosis, treatment planning, clinical interventions, risk assessment, crisis response, and ethical decision-making.
• Monitor supervisee caseloads, clinical competency development, and adherence to evidence-based practices.

Regulatory & Compliance Oversight

• Ensure supervision and clinical practices comply with applicable Minnesota requirements (including Minn. Stat. § 245I treatment supervision standards) and Georgia Composite Board rules governing supervision of professional counselors, social workers, and marriage and family therapists.
• Support compliance with DHS, Medicaid, and commercial payer documentation and medical necessity standards.
• Participate in internal quality assurance activities, including chart audits, treatment plan reviews, and corrective action follow-up.
• Escalate clinical risk, ethical concerns, and compliance issues promptly to the Compliance Officer and executive leadership.

Clinical Quality & Team Leadership

• Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and clinical staffing as scheduled.
• Support onboarding and clinical orientation of new clinicians.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of clinical policies, procedures, and practice standards.
• Model and promote a collaborative, mission-focused, and ethically grounded clinical culture.

Minimum Qualifications

• Independent clinical licensure in good standing in Minnesota (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP) and/or Georgia (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT).
• Board-approved supervisor status in the applicable state(s) — Minnesota: meets BOSW, BBHT, or BMFT supervisor requirements, and qualifies as a § 245I treatment supervisor where applicable; Georgia: holds a Composite Board-recognized supervision credential (e.g., CPCS or ACS, or an equivalent approved supervisory qualification for LCSW/LMFT supervision).
• Minimum of five (5) years of post-licensure clinical experience in outpatient behavioral health, community mental health, or a related setting.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing clinical supervision.
• Demonstrated knowledge of clinical documentation standards, medical necessity criteria, and Medicaid/commercial payer requirements.
• Strong working knowledge of risk assessment, crisis protocols, mandated reporting, and ethical standards (ACA, NASW, AAMFT, or APA codes as applicable).
• Proficiency with EHR systems and telehealth platforms; ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment.
• Current professional liability (malpractice) insurance, or willingness to obtain prior to engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Dual licensure or supervisory recognition in either Minnesota or Georgia.
• Experience supervising clinicians in DHS-licensed programs (MN) and/or Medicaid-enrolled outpatient behavioral health organizations (GA).
• Experience with co-occurring disorders and substance use disorder treatment settings.
• Prior experience in clinical leadership, quality assurance, or a compliance-support role.
• Experience supporting culturally diverse client populations and clinical teams.

Contractor Relationship & Compensation

This is an independent contractor (1099) engagement; the contractor is responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and business expenses. Hours are flexible and scheduled collaboratively based on supervision caseload and regulatory requirements; consistent weekly availability for scheduled supervision sessions is required. The contractor must maintain active licensure, supervisory credentials, and required continuing education in all applicable states throughout the engagement, and must successfully complete a background study/background check as required by Minnesota DHS and/or Georgia regulations.

Compensation: $60.00–$70.00 per hour, based on credentials, dual-state qualifications, and supervisory experience — paid for approved supervision hours, documentation review, and scheduled clinical meetings per the contractor agreement.
