Keonna Stanley- LAPC- Pre License LPC
I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) dedicated to supporting individuals as they heal from trauma, navigate life transitions, and rebuild emotional safety within themselves and their relationships. My work focuses on helping clients process difficult experiences, develop healthier coping strategies, and reconnect with their personal strengths.
My professional background includes experience providing individual counseling, behavioral health assessments, and intake evaluations across clinical settings. I have worked closely with multidisciplinary teams to assess mental health needs, develop treatment plans, and support individuals experiencing trauma-related symptoms, emotional distress, and life challenges. I also have experience administering and supporting psychological and behavioral assessments, which helps inform thoughtful and personalized treatment approaches for each client.
I approach therapy through a trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative lens, creating a space where clients feel safe, respected, and empowered in their healing journey. I believe that trauma-informed care requires patience, curiosity, and a deep commitment to understanding each person’s story.
Beyond my clinical work, I am committed to continued professional growth and advancing my expertise in the mental health field. My long-term goal is to pursue doctoral-level training and full licensure, allowing me to expand my work in psychological assessment, trauma treatment, and clinical research.
Personally, I value authenticity, creativity, and meaningful connection. These values shape the environment I strive to create in therapy—one where clients feel genuinely supported as they move from surviving their experiences to building a life rooted in healing, clarity, and resilience.
