Johanna Walker- MSW, Pre Licence LICSW

I am a compassionate and approachable Master’s-level therapist with over eight years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults in both community and clinical settings. I works with clients navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and emotional stress, and have experience supporting children and teens on the autism spectrum with mild to moderate support needs. While my primary focus is individual therapy, I also brings experience working with couples and offering parent coaching when appropriate. I am known for my calm presence, thoughtful listening, and ability to help clients feel comfortable, understood, and supported from the very first session. My professional focus includes strengthening emotional regulation, enhancing communication, and helping clients build practical coping skills that encourage personal growth and daily balance.

I have training in Trauma-Informed Care and I incorporate empathy, cultural humility, CBT-informed, behavioral, and strengths-based techniques into my work. I believe I in a client-centered style of therapy and tailors each session to meet my clients’ unique needs and goals. With a strong interest in the brain and emotional processing, I approach therapy with compassion and deep respect for each person’s story. My style emphasizes collaboration, gentle guidance, and empowering clients to build resilience, confidence, and meaningful healing at their own pace.

I am available for telehealth services and enjoy working with diverse individuals seeking clarity, growth, and long-term emotional wellness. Outside of my professional role, I enjoys spending time outdoors, appreciating nature, and sharing meaningful moments with family.
