Trauma Therapy & PTSD Treatment in Eagan, MN

Trauma Therapy & PTSD Treatment in Eagan, MN

Intro Paragraph

Eagan's trauma cases reflect the diversity of a community on the southern edge of the Twin Cities metro. East African families in Eagan carry conflict-related and displacement trauma from refugee journeys that may be decades old but have never received full clinical attention. Domestic violence in Dakota County is documented but underreported among both immigrant and general populations. The racial trauma experienced by Black families in Eagan, navigating a suburban community with known equity gaps, is real and requires clinical support. For Eagan's general population, trauma from accidents, medical events, and sudden crises follows typical patterns and often goes untreated, especially in a south-metro market where waitlists are months long. Radiant Recovery offers trauma therapy and PTSD treatment for Eagan residents via telehealth across Minnesota. EMDR and CPT are available. They accept Minnesota Medicaid. Appointments are available within the same week.

Who We Help

East African and immigrant trauma survivors in Eagan

For East African Eagan residents--many of whom are former refugees from Somalia, Ethiopia, and Eritrea--conflict, persecution, and displacement trauma often go untreated since resettlement. EMDR is especially effective for trauma stored in somatic and pre-verbal memories, common in refugee populations. Our multilingual and culturally sensitive clinicians offer trauma therapy across these communities.

Domestic violence survivors in the south metro

DV in Eagan and Dakota County causes complex PTSD that needs trauma-sensitive clinical care focusing on safety and client control. We offer DV trauma treatment through telehealth, accept Minnesota Medicaid, and remove transportation barriers.

Black Eagan residents with racial trauma

The racial trauma caused by navigating a diversifying suburb that hasn't always updated its institutional culture as quickly as needed results in clinical trauma symptoms -- hypervigilance, avoidance, negative beliefs about safety -- which our BIPOC clinicians take seriously.

Adults with acute incident PTSD

Vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, and medical emergencies can cause PTSD that often goes unnoticed in high-functioning groups. EMDR is very effective for treating acute incident trauma and is accessible through telehealth.
